Joey Montes

Jose Montes is a Visual Designer originally from El Paso, TX. Jose writes drill, choreographs, program coordinates and judges Indoor and Outdoor Ensembles across the country. Jose also designs uniforms/props for guards, bands and indoor groups across the US. He has 3 years of World Class Drum Corps experience playing mellophone with the Troopers Drum & Bugle Corps. Jose has taught/designed for BOA/DCI/WGI competitors. He has helped numerous groups make it into Finals and even achieve National Championships over the years. Jose is the Co-Director of a competitive IA Guard in Kansas and a WSA Winds group in Wendell, NC.  When he isn’t immersed in the Marching Arts, Jose is fighting for quality time between new dinner recipes and his 3 year old Boxer puppy named Charcoal
